Impressions by Heidi

About

Hi.  I’m Heidi — busy wife, mom and artisan.

I’ve been “crafting” as long as I can remember.  My grandmothers taught me to knit and crochet before I entered school and I’ve had some sort of craft work going ever since.  I still like to knit and crochet.  I adore scrapbooking.  But I’ve found what I truly love is making jewelry.  I don’t know if it’s working with all those gorgeous colors and different textures or how I feel when someone asks me where I got a certain piece and I say “Thank you, I made it.”  Whatever it is, I keep doing it.

If you were to stop by my home studio — the one my children so lovingly set up for me as my Mother’s Day gift — you might find me stringing beads, squishing polymer clay, decoupaging cigar boxes, or bending metal.  You’d definitely find me in an array of materials of all colors and types with an expression of peaceful mania on my face.

The creative process ending in artisan jewelry pieces, is my true passion and I’ve decided it’s time to share it with you.  From the simplest piece to the most profound, I create so that you can create yourself.  Follow my journey and share my love of my art.
